V centru akcí společnosti Fantasy Flight Games se konala akce s názvem "The Realms of Terrinoth Event", což byla sbírka herních akcí pro Descent, Runebound a Runewars. Jako propagační předmět, který se rozdával účastníkům, obdrželi tuto 24stránkovou brožuru, která je propagačním průvodcem scénářů pro Descent a Runewars.Uvnitř jsou tři scénáře pro Descent a jeden pro Runewars. Scénáře pro Descent : 1 : Snitty State of the Invincible Overlords Tento úkol staví jednoho overlorda proti druhému - červeného proti modrému - v bitvě o ovládnutí dungeonu s nízkými sázkami. Ke hraní vyžaduje pouze základní hru Descent Journeys in the Dark. Jedná se o závod dvou overlordů mezi dvěma hráči nebo dvěma týmy hráčů. Každá strana se střídá v roli overlorda nad protistranou a snaží se udělat vše pro to, aby se její hrdinové dostali do vnitřní svatyně gildy jako první. 2 : Temný hvozd Toto je standardní scénář, stejně jako všechny ostatní. Tento úkol využívá venkovní mapové dílky, proto je k němu zapotřebí základní hra Descent Cesty do temnot a Cesta k legendě. 3 : Příběh rytíře V tomto úkolu se dva týmy hrdinů snaží překonat jeden druhého tím, že si z doupěte ledového Wyrma odnesou co nejvíce zlata a pokladů. Ke splnění tohoto úkolu jsou zapotřebí obě hry Descent Journeys in the Dark a Tomb of Ice. Dva týmy po dvou hráčích se utvoří jako rytíř a panoš. Vládce může panoše každého týmu zabít několikrát, ale pokud někdy rytíř padne, hra končí. Je to závod o to, kdo zůstane naživu a nashromáždí více pokladů než soupeřův tým. At the Fantasy Flight Games event center, they held an event titled "The Realms of Terrinoth Event" which was a collection of gaming events for Descent, Runebound, and Runewars.
As a promo item handed out to attendees, they received this 24-page booklet which is a Scenario Guide promo for Descent and Runewars.
Inside are three scenarios for Descent and one for Runewars.
Descent Scenarios :
1 : Snitty State of the Invincible Overlords
This quest pits one overlord against another -- Red versus Blue -- in a low stakes battle of dungeon mastery. Requires only the base game of Descent Journeys in the Dark to play.
This is a double-overlord race game between two players, or two teams of players. Each side takes a turn being overlord over the opposing side, trying to do their best to make sure their heroes reach the inner guildhall sanctum first.
2 : The Dark Grove
This is a standard scenario, like all others. This quest uses the outdoor map tiles, therefore the base game of Descent Journeys in the Dark and Road to Legend are required.
3 : A Knight's Tale
This quest involves two teams of heroes attempting to outdo one another by taking the most gold and treasure from the Ice Wyrm's lair. This quest requires both Descent Journeys in the Dark and Tomb of Ice to play.
Two teams of two players each, form up as a Knight and a Squire. The Overlord can kill the squire of each team multiple times, but if ever the Knight goes down, it's game over. It's a race to stay alive and bank more treasure than your opposing team.
Runewars Scenario :
1 : Battle of the Ru Steppes
This is a preset Runewars map for 4 players following normal play rules involving Dragon Rune conquest.
