Originální popis hry
Postavte jako první hrad ve své barvě.
Všechny karty jsou položeny lícem dolů doprostřed stolu. V každém tahu si hráči musí vždy vzít alespoň jednu kartu z vrcholu této hromádky.
Pokud si hráč vezme kartu "hradu", položí ji před sebe a označí tak začátek hradu v barvě dané karty. Pokud již jiný hráč staví hrad v této barvě, musí tuto kartu položit lícem nahoru na svou pravou stranu. Tyto karty lze později ve hře odhodit nebo prodat. Poté, co si hráč vzal kartu hradu, může si vzít ještě jednu kartu z hromádky, nebo svůj tah vynechat.
Pokud si hráč vezme kartu "víly" nebo "diamantu", musí ji rovněž položit lícem nahoru na svou pravou stranu. Stejně jako v případě karty hradu lze po sebrání karty víly vzít z hromádky další kartu nebo přejít na další tah.
Karty diamantů lze použít k nákupu karet hradů od ostatních hráčů. Tři diamantové karty lze vyměnit za jednu kartu hradu. Hráč nesmí odmítnout prodej karty hradu. Kromě toho lze v jednom tahu koupit pouze jednu kartu hradu. Hráč si nesmí vzít kartu z hromádky ve stejném tahu, ve kterém kupuje kartu hradu od soupeře.
Pokud si hráč vezme kartu "čarodějnice", má smůlu! Pak musí hráč kartu čarodějnice a 3 další karty položit vedle hromádky karet doprostřed stolu a svůj tah ukončit. Další 3 karty mohou být karty diamantů nebo hradu, a to buď z hromádky hráče na pravé straně, nebo z jeho vlastního hradu. Pokud má hráč méně než 3 karty, musí odevzdat všechny karty, které má.
Kartu víly lze použít jako protiváhu karty čarodějnice. Pokud je kontrována, musí být karta čarodějnice i karta víly položeny na hromádku vedle karet uprostřed stolu.
Kdykoli na hromádce nezbývají žádné další karty, všechny karty, které jsou vedle hromádky, se vezmou, zamíchají a položí zpět doprostřed stolu, aby vytvořily novou hromádku.
Hráčka, které se podaří postavit kompletně vlastní hrad (6 karet stejné barvy), vyhrává hru.

Be the first person to build a castle in one's own color.
All the cards are placed face down in the center of the table. In each turn the players must always take at least one card from the top of this draw pile.
If a player picks up a 'castle' card, she places it in front of her, marking the beginning of a castle in the color of that particular card. If another player is already building a castle in that color, the player must place the card face up on her right-hand side. These cards can be discarded or sold later in the game. After having picked up a castle card, the player may take yet another card from the pile, or pass her turn.
If a player picks up a 'fairy' or a 'diamond' card, it also has to be placed face up on the player's right-hand side. As with a castle card another card may be taken from the pile after having picked up a fairy card, or the turn may be passed.
Diamond cards can be used to buy castle cards from other players. 3 diamond cards can be exchanged for a single castle card. A player may not refuse to sell a castle card. Furthermore, only a single castle card can be bought in a turn. A player is not allowed to take a card from the pile in the same turn in which she buys a castle card from an opponent.
If a player picks up a 'witch' card it's bad luck! Then a player must place the witch card, and 3 other cards next to the pile of cards in the center of the table and pass her turn. The 3 other cards can be diamond cards or castle cards, either from the player's right-hand side pile or from her own castle. If a player has less then 3 cards, she must hand in whatever cards she has.
A fairy card can be used to counter the witch card. If countered, both the witch card and the fairy card must be placed on the pile next to the cards in the center of the table.
Whenever there are no more cards left in the pile, all the cards that are next to the pile are taken, shuffled and placed back in the center of the table to form a new draw pile.
The player who manages to build her own castle completely (6 cards of the same color) wins the game.
